About Bundles of Joy?

Bundles of Joy are a specialist baby and family charity who collect and distribute baby and family equipment to families in need within Hull, Beverley, and East Yorkshire. The charity was founded in November 2016 by Claire Raper. You can learn more about us on our homepage.

What items do you accept?

All of the donations we receive need to be in good condition. Toys need to be complete and in full working order. We accept unused baby, children and adult toiletries, nappies, books, Moses baskets, bedding, prams, baby bouncy chairs, play gyms and toys. Please contact us if you have any queries.

What items can’t you accept?

Due to health and safety, we CAN NOT accept

  • Car seats
  • Bottles and feeding equipment
  • Mattresses
  • Breast pumps
  • Anything electrical

How do I donate items to you?

Please email or contact us through the Facebook page and details will be given about where you can drop off.

Do you accept self-referrals?

All referrals are to come from health professionals, social care or other local charities. However, if you feel you could benefit from our help please ask your associated health worker to contact us.

Are you a registered charity?

Yes, we are and our charity number is 1173126.

I’m a health professional. How can I introduce Bundles of Joy to families I work with?

In the first instance, please get in touch to make a referral. There are no set criteria; we simply try to help as many families as possible who are referred to us by social and health professionals.

We ask that the Bundles of Joy can be collected from our premises and passed on to your families.
